Orbit Alarms - PSA

The PSA (Private Security Authority) was established by the Private Securities Act 2004 to control and supervise individuals and firms providing private security services and to investigate and adjudicate on any complaints against them.
In accordance with the act, all installers of security systems must be licensed by the PSA and to install a system without a licence is a prosecutable offence.

The NSAI (National Standards Authority of Ireland) is the national body responsible for certifying the standards of products and services provided by firms in each industry. The National Standards Authority of Ireland operates a certification scheme based on
Irish Standard I.S. EN 50131/1:1997, “Alarm Systems - Intrusion Systems”, under which alarm installers who apply for certification are assessed by NSAI Inspectors, and have their operations and procedures evaluated.
Orbit Alarms are fully certified by the NSAI and all intruder alarm installations are certified for home insurance purposes.
